\nOn behalf of ISSMGE Technical Committee (TC203)\u00a0on Earthquake Geotechnical Engineering and\u00a0Associated Problems, we are delighted to invite you to\u00a0join us at the 6th International Conference on\u00a0Earthquake Geotechnical Engineering (6ICEGE) in\u00a0Christchurch, New Zealand, 2-4 November 2015\u00a0(www.6icege.com<\/a>). Following the highly successful\u00a0conferences in Tokyo 1995, Lisbon 1999, Berkeley\u00a02004, Thessaloniki 2007 and Santiago 2011, this will\u00a0be the sixth in this series of specialized conferences.\u00a0We believe the 6ICEGE will provide an excellent\u00a0opportunity for earthquake and geotechnical engineers,\u00a0geologists and seismologists, consulting engineers,\u00a0public and private contractors, city and national\u00a0authorities, and all those involved with engineering\u00a0works and research related to earthquake geotechnical\u00a0engineering, to exchange ideas and present their\u00a0recent experience and developments.

\nCONFERENCE FORMAT<\/strong>
\nThe three-day conference will consist of plenary,\u00a0parallel and poster sessions of both invited and\u00a0submitted papers in conjunction with keynote lectures\u00a0and state-of-the-art reports presented by leading\u00a0international experts. The 6ICEGE will include the 5th\u00a0Ishihara Lecture, an award lecture created by TC203 to\u00a0honour the life contribution of Professor Kenji Ishihara\u00a0in the field of Earthquake Geotechnical Engineering.\u00a0Workshops on specific topics and round table\u00a0discussions on the recent advances on this field are\u00a0also included.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.sochige.cl\/images\/6ICEGEBulletin1_FINAL.pdf.jpg\")
