Academic position in Geotechnical Engineering and Engineering Geology

We are looking for academics in Geotechnical Engineering and Engineering Geology to work in the Department of Civil Engineering of the Catholic University of Concepción. We are interested in candidates with deep knowledge in mainly some of the following areas: Rock Mechanics (underground excavations, slope stability, laboratory testing, modelling), Hydrogeology (measurement and modelling), Geophysics (in situ testing, modelling) and Seismology (instrumentation and recording of seismic events). Candidates can be Geotechnical Engineers, Geologists, Geophysicists, Civil Engineers, Engineering Geologists or other related professional with a doctorate in a relevant topic. As an academic, he/she will lecture undergraduates and graduates, develop research as well as carry out laboratory and field work.
